I purchased 2 of these for a belt rig I was assembling. I originally purchased USGI Taco's after reading loads of great reviews on line and from friends that use them. But I was not happy with the way they collapse when empty, making the insertion of mags under stress unpredictable without looking. I then tried the fast mags, but they ride too high and interfere with plate carriers and dig into my side. I then found the Emdom URMP and gave them a try. I wish I had done that first, they are fantastic. They stay open, they accept any mag, even 2 G.I. mags will fit. The friction fit is fine tune-able but not required, they are height adjustable on the belt and the foam backing stands the mag away from the body just enough as not to allow the mag to dig into your side, nor do they interfere with armor and other gear worn on your body. I have trained with them for a few months now with great success, just a really solidly built and extremely well designed piece of kit. Great product!
