The Emdom Universal Pistol Magazine Pouch is designed to carry nearly any pistol magazine. The design was focused on providing positive retention and facilitating unrestricted insertion and extraction of magazines.

KEY FEATURES & DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS

Accommodation:
The Emdom Universal Pistol Magazine Pouch will carry nearly any pistol magazine or anything of similar size and shape.

Mounting:
MOLLE/PALS compatible and can be mounted on webbing or belts up to 2.75" wide via one short MALICE clips. Mounting platform is composed of three rows of 7/8" wide webbing. Gaps are built in between the rows to allow easier weaving of a MALICE clip.

Active Retention:
The primary source of retention comes from the sides squeezing inwards. A single level of elastic cord provides tension on the sides to retain the inserted magazine. This elastic cord is fully adjustable and is user replaceable.

Passive Retention:
A foam insert sewn into the mounting platform of the pouch provides tension on the inserted magazine. The hypalon lining the interior of the sides create friction for additional retention.

Access:

  • Insertion: The opening is fixed from side to side as well as front to back. It stays open and will not collapse which facilitates unrestricted magazine insertion.
  • Extraction: The foam insert in the platform of the pouch creates a slight standoff of an inserted magazine. This allows for a positive grip on the magazine.

This little guy does what every pistol mag pouch does. It offers some adjustability, and works equally well with my G43X/48 mags, G17 and 22 (yes, there's a slight difference), and my 2011 mags with no problem. Works best for me with shorter mags, as my long boi 2011 mags tend to tip outwards, away from my CHLK belt. This could just be a mounting or positioning issue, but whatever. It does feel a little lighter, and possibly slightly less tough, than say, a First Spear or TYR pouch, but it works well enough for me. I wouldn't necessarily take it on a deployment, but for the 99%, this guy should do just fine.

5 of 5 I can carry 3 10 round 1911 mags. October 19, 2020

I use a 1911 mostly and this carries 3 10 round mags great to have the flap for not loading them in the swamp. That said even with just one mag in the pouch it doesn’t seem like it would go anywhere with out the flap. I also use it for 2 glock 17 and of glock 20 mags they fit fine and definitely aren’t going anywhere.

Purchased the magazine pouch for the battle belt. I like small size of the pouch and the ability to hold a multitool, knife, or flashlight as well.

The Pistol pouches are A1 quality, it’s a quiet draw, and great retention. I preordered a couple of pouches in multicam it took a few months to arrive so order instock if you need it urgently.
