Emdom H2O Hydration Carrier is designed as a rugged, feature packed, and versatile hydration carrier. It will accommodate most standard shape reservoirs up to 100oz/3L (NOT included). The Emdom H2O Hydration Carrier can be utilized either as a stand-alone pack by adding our Emdom H2O Hydration Carrier Shoulder Strap System (sold separately) or by mounting it to back of any MOLLE/PALS vest or armor carrier with our proprietary Emdom/MM MOLLE attachment system. The H2O Hydration Carrier features a full length pocket for storage of long items such as antennae and tools. Longer items can be accessed from the upper most zippered opening and shorter items can be accessed from the lower zippered opening.

KEY FEATURES & DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS

Mounting:
MOLLE/PALS compatible via two integrated Emdom/MM MOLLE attachment straps. Can be mounted to three or four columns of PALS.

Stand-alone:
On the rear of the carrier, at the top left and right are Tri-glides. Just above the last bottom row of MOLLE/PALS webbing on the left and right are Looplocs. These four attachment points are for mounting our Emdom H2O Hydration Carrier Should Strap System (sold separately). These four attachment points can also be used to mount the H2O carrier to our Emdom/MM Battle Suspenders (sold separately) via additional hardware (NOT included).

Exterior front and sides:
Front features 8 rows x 4 columns of PALS webbing. At the top is a 4" x 3" loop Velcro area integrated with the top 2 rows of PALS webbing. Each side features 6 rows x 2 columns of PALS webbing. There are four 1” tab loops on the front for use as tie-downs or lash points. Integrated into the front of the carrier is a full length general purpose pocket with both a zippered opening at the very top and in the middle. Zippered openings are covered, protecting them from damage and the elements.

Exterior back and bottom:
Back features full MOLLE/PALS webbing grid with proprietary Emdom/MM MOLLE attachment system which utilizes hook and loop Velcro to secure the ends of each strap after they’ve been weaved through a MOLLE/PALS platform. Drainage grommet at the very bottom of the pouch allows drainage of water, sand, and other unwanted debris.

Opening of main compartment:
Dual zippered opening is protected from damage and the elements by full length cover flap. Each zipper pull features 2 snaps which ensure a secure closure when snapped together. At the very top middle facing the back of the carrier is a hydration tube port with elastic flap cover which will accommodate most bite valves, mouth pieces, and attachments.

Interior of main compartment:
The front portion features a 4.5" x 5" zippered mesh pocket for connectors, spare bite valve, cleaning tablets, etc. Behind the mesh pocket is a 4" x 4" loop Velcro panel for storing ID/IFF patches and markers. The back portion of the interior features a mesh reservoir pocket with an elastic opening. Towards the bottom is a 3” wide elastic compression strap. At the top is a 550 paracord loop for hanging a reservoir.

5 of 5 Best and most versatile hydration pouch August 5, 2020

I had been looking for a pouch that would fit my MSR 4L Dromedary bag forever. This pouch works great with this bag. Since purchase I have changed the hydration bag to a Source 3L and this pouch works just as well with it. The many zippered pockets allow me to store cleaning tools and hydration additives in specific compartemetns. The many molle straps also allow for modularity for additional pouches.

This hydration pouch is a tight fit for the Source 3 litre hydration bladder I use.  However, that is a good thing because the bladder doesn't slop around when I move.  The thing is extremely well made and looks as though it will survive even the zombie apocalypse; time will tell as I put it through its paces.  The inclusion of snaps on the zipper pull tabs is an absolutely brilliant idea because once this pouch is closed it stays closed; I've noted that the weight of a full water bladder can cause a zipper to work itself open under movement.  All in all I am extremely satisfied with this hydration pouch.
